Jack van Eyssen, Warsaw supply drop hero.

Maj. Jack van Eyssen, DFC, was a 31 Squadron B-24 Liberator pilot. His aircraft was shot down in Poland on a supply drop mission during the Warsaw uprising of August 1944. He subsequently was interred by the Russians but eventually returned to his squadron and finished his tour of duty.
