VIDEO INTERVIEW: BUTCH FREEMAN


This video interview was done at Butch' home in Johannesburg in 2012.
Butch served with 1 squadron in Italy 1943-1944 as a Spitfire pilot. He was twice seriously wounded but in both cases returned the shot-up aircraft safely to base. For this he received the DFC award.
